Hotel Rates

The special conference rate is $289 per night for single or double occupancy, plus applicable taxes and fees.

To receive the SHEA conference rate, be sure to identify yourself as a SHEA Spring Conference attendee when booking.

Book by February 26, 2027, to receive the special conference rate.

If you are unable to secure rooms for your specific dates through the online booking link, please call the hotel at 202-234-0700 as soon as possible, and they will be able to assist. Be sure to mention that you are with the SHEA Spring Conference to to request the conference rate.

Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: 12:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before arrival to avoid a cancellation penalty.

Government Rate

If you require a government-rate room, please contact Laure Herzog by February 22, 2027 to request a special booking link. Please note that availability is limited, and rooms will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Travel

Airports:

The Omni Shoreham Hotel is conveniently located near several airports:

• Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): 8 miles; approximately 15 minutes by car
• Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): 28 miles; approximately 30 minutes by car
• Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): 33 miles; approximately 45 minutes by car

Travel times are approximate and may vary based on traffic.

Train

For attendees traveling along the East Coast, traveling by train can be a convenient option. Washington, DC is served by Amtrak and regional commuter trains through Union Station, located a few miles from the hotel.

Getting to the Hotel via Metro

The Washington Metro (Metrorail) is a convenient and cost-effective way to travel from Union Station to the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

• From Union Station: Follow the signs to the Metrorail station and board the Red Line toward Shady Grove.
• Exit at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan
• Walk to the hotel: Exit the station and turn left onto Connecticut Avenue. Walk one block to Calvert Street NW, cross the street, and turn right. The hotel entrance is approximately half a block ahead on the left. It is only a 4 minute walk!

Parking

Omni Shoreham Hotel Washington D.C. offers valet parking only which includes in/out privileges.

Rate: $55 plus tax per car, per day.
