Communicating Complex Data Simply: Mastering Data Visualization for Antibiotic Stewardship & Healthcare Epidemiology

SHEA is pleased to hold a half-day workshop before the conference on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. CT.

This workshop will feature both didactic learning and breakout group work among participants. This year’s workshop will focus on leadership and communication. Please note only those attending in person will be able to participate in the workshop.

Learning Objectives

  1. Evaluate and choose the most appropriate visualization for different types of data and audiences
  2. Translate complex data to actionable information for frontline healthcare workers to healthcare leaders
  3. Apply simple and freely available tools for data visualization and appraise the role of more complex programs for sophisticated analyses.
